If yours isn't here, give us a call or send a note — we always answer.
The fastest way is the slip request form — tell us your boat's length, beam, draft, and what power you need. We'll reply inside one business day with what we have, or put you on a short waitlist if we're full. We hold returning members' slips through May 15 each spring; after that, anything unrenewed becomes available.
Yes — hail us on VHF Channel 09 or call ahead. We almost always have a transient slip open weeknights. Holiday weekends fill up; if you're aiming for July 4 or Labor Day, give us 48 hours' notice. Two-night minimum on those weekends.
Our travel lift is rated to 35 tons with a 17-foot beam clearance. We've safely lifted everything from a 22' Grady-White to a 48' Grand Banks. If your boat sits on the edge of those numbers, we'd rather take a look at it in the water before we schedule a haul.
For routine springtime launches and fall haul outs, two weeks is plenty. If you need bottom paint or other shop work over the off-season, get on the calendar by mid-September — our covered bay fills up. Emergency hauls (a leak, a strike, an insurance survey) we'll usually fit in within 24–48 hours.
Bottom paint, gelcoat repair, fiberglass patching, zinc replacement, prop and shaft service — yes, all in-house. For engine rebuilds, electronics installs, or rigging beyond the basics, we work with a short list of trusted local pros and we'll coordinate the work and the haul/launch around their schedule.
We use marine-grade cast vinyl — typically 3M IJ180mC or Avery MPI 1105 — with a UV-stable laminate over printed work. Rated life is 7+ years on vertical surfaces, even in salt and sun. Properly applied, you can expect a transom to look just as crisp seasons later.
Not for the first conversation. Send us photos of the area you want lettered (with a tape measure in the shot if you can), tell us what you want it to say, and we'll mock up two or three options. Once you approve the design, we'll schedule a day for you to bring the boat to our indoor bay — most jobs go on in under three hours.
Yes. We use heat, plastic razors, and citrus-based adhesive remover — never aggressive solvents that can soften gelcoat. Most removal jobs run an hour to ninety minutes per side. If your old graphics have left ghost shadows from years of UV exposure, we'll talk through whether a polish or compound is worth it before re-lettering.
Office hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, May through October. Off-season (November through April) we're 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, by appointment on weekends. Slip-holders have 24/7 keycard access to docks, bathrooms, and laundry year-round.
We do not — and we've decided to keep it that way. The closest fuel dock is two miles up at Crab Point Marina; we'll happily radio ahead to make sure they're open. We do keep ice, basic fenders, dock lines, and a few common engine fluids in the office for slip-holders.
Cash, check, all major credit cards (3% surcharge), Zelle, and ACH for seasonal contracts. We do not take crypto or net-30 invoicing. Seasonal contracts can be paid in two installments (April 1 and June 15) at no extra charge.
Yes — leashed on the docks and in the office, please. The lawn between the bathhouse and the lift is fair game off-leash if no one else is around. We have water bowls at the office and the dock master always has a treat or two in his pocket.
Easiest thing is to call. Someone in the office will pick up — and if we're on the lift, we'll call you back as soon as our hands are free.
